My Niche at Flying Colors
My husband and I started Flying Colors in March 2007 after graduating from National K9 School for Dog Trainers. I especially love working with dogs who have behavior problems, because I love to see their owners have the opportunity to enjoy their dogs more. Since I have young kids, I also enjoy working with families to create harmony and respect between their children and their dogs.
Family
I have a husband and two little girls (age 5 years and 7 years). Those girls keep me busy! We also have four dogs in the family: Shelby a 7 year old Collie mix, Apple a 4 year old Siberian Husky, Wakey a 3 year old Corgi mix, Floof a 10 month old Australian Shepherd mix.
Hobbies
Shelby is registered in the American Kennel Club Canine Partners registry and I enjoy competing in various performance events with her. She has earned her Beginner Novice title in Obedience as well as her RN, RA, & RE title in Rally Obedience. Shelby also has her Canine Good Citizen title and is certified through Therapy Dogs International. And she LOVES to participate in lure coursing.
